But what is a high-vibration person, really? Are there tell-tale signs you’ve met one… or that you are one? And if you’re not one, can you become one?

A high-vibration person is someone who operates at a higher frequency, often full of joy & purpose and able to easily manifest positive situations.

The concept of vibration is rooted in the idea that all matter, including humans, is made up of energy. This energy “vibrates” at different frequencies — and these frequencies can profoundly affect our mood, health, and how we perceive the world.

In my opinion, high-vibrational people are at peace with themselves and the world around them. They are careful about the thoughts they allow inside their mind, the food they eat, the people they spend time with, and the environments they put themselves in.

7 Signs of a High-Vibration Person

Identifying high-vibration people is often intuitive, as they tend to exude a distinct aura of positivity and calm.

However, there are some specific signs you’re a high-vibration person:

1. You have a positive outlook

High-vibration people are distinguished by their unwavering positivity. They approach life with an optimistic mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.

That’s not to say you can’t have bad days. But you believe that even things most people would consider “negative” are actually happening FOR you, not to you.

This positive outlook can be infectious, uplifting those around you and often leading to a ripple effect of optimism in your environment.

2. You are emotionally stable

Emotional intelligence is a hallmark of a high-vibrational person.

You experience low-vibrational emotions like anyone else but have a remarkable ability to manage and balance these emotions. Your resilience in the face of adversity and ability to maintain composure under stress are testaments to your emotional stability.

3. You care about your mental AND physical well-being

A distinguishing feature of high-vibrational frequency is attention to physical and mental health.

You understand the symbiotic relationship between a healthy body and a vibrant spirit. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and mindfulness practices are integral parts of your lifestyle, contributing to your overall high-vibrational state.

4. You have compassion and empathy

High-vibration individuals naturally exude compassion and empathy.

You are attuned to the feelings of others, making you an excellent listener and confidant. Strangers often tell you their life story.

This empathetic nature fosters deep, meaningful relationships and often positions you as a source of comfort and support for others.

An introspective nature and deep self-awareness are core traits of high-vibrational people.

Too often, kind people give up their boundaries and allow low-vibrational energy into their lives out of fear of upsetting others.

But not you. You understand the importance of setting and standing up for your boundaries. You’re not afraid to say “no” to low-vibration people and situations, or even to high-vibe people you love but are overstepping their bounds.

7. You feel connected to nature

A strong sense of connectedness with nature, other people, and the universe is a frequent characteristic of high-vibrational energy.

You have a keen interest in spirituality or environmentalism and reflecting on your understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.

How to Raise Your Vibration

Raising your vibration is about enhancing the overall quality of your energy and consciousness.

Here are the best ways I’ve found to achieve a high vibration after 10 years of practice:

Be Grateful

Gratitude is one of the most powerful ways to elevate your vibrational frequency. Regularly acknowledging and appreciating the good in your life shifts your focus to positivity, fostering a higher vibrational state.

I have kept a gratitude journal for many years, and I always feel positive emotions after writing down the things I’m grateful for.

Use Affirmations

Affirmations are powerful statements that can reshape your thoughts and beliefs, leading to a higher vibration. Repeating positive affirmations daily, such as “I am worthy of love and happiness” or “I attract positive energy,” can significantly influence your energy frequency.

Meditate

Meditation is a practice that not only calms the mind but also raises your vibrational energy. Engaging in regular meditation, even for short periods, can help clear negative emotions and enhance spiritual awareness.

Spend Time in Nature

We were born to live on the land. In today’s high-tech environment, full of screens and sterilized building materials, we rarely connect with nature without making an intentional effort.

If you want a naturally high vibration, you need to spend more time in nature. Better yet, take your shoes and socks off and connect your bare feet with the Earth for better feelings of connectedness and psychological restoration.

Eat High-Vibrational Foods

Your diet plays a crucial role in your vibrational frequency. Consuming fresh, organic, and unprocessed foods can increase your vibration. High-vibrational foods are typically nutrient-rich, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains.

Get Sunlight Exposure

Sunlight is a natural mood enhancer and plays a vital role in raising your vibrational energy. Regular exposure to sunlight can improve your overall well-being, so spend some time outside!

Practice Physical Touch

Physical touch, like hugging, can release oxytocin, the ‘love hormone’. This promotes feelings of happiness and increases your vibrational energy.

Pro Tip: If you feel awkward asking for hugs, try asking people if THEY need a hug, instead! Oftentimes people would love a hug and are happy to get one. If not, they’ll say no — don’t take it personally, they just don’t want a hug.

Listen to Your Intuition

Perhaps the biggest benefit of operating at a higher frequency is being more in touch with your intuition — the little voice in your head that guides you to what you know to be right.

To hear your intuition, you must be still and silent. Meditation helps, but also going for walks, journaling, and even spending time with Tarot or Oracle cards can help you get in touch with your intuition.

But contrary to popular belief, the issue isn’t hearing your intuition… it’s acting on it.

We all hear the gut feeling telling us to do something, but we don’t always want to do the thing. Practice listening to that feeling and ACTING on it. The more you act, the easier it gets and the more your intuition talks to you. Manifestation happens faster and you attract the right people and situations at the right time.

Embracing a high-vibrational lifestyle is a journey that comes with its own set of challenges and misconceptions. Understanding these can help you navigate the path more effectively.

One of the main challenges in raising your vibration is consistency. It requires a daily commitment to practices like meditation, affirmations, and mindful living.

Additionally, external factors such as stress, negative influences, and a hectic lifestyle can impede your progress. Overcoming these hurdles involves creating a supportive environment and routine that prioritizes your vibrational practices.
